Senior Access Associate
Summary
As a Senior Access Associate, you lead in the management and guidance of team members to maintain Rochester Regional’s high-quality standards of customer care.
About the Role
Provides knowledge, expertise and guidance to a team of access associates; assists in training new employees; serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex issues; manages incoming calls and provides necessary information; greets patients and/or their representatives and provides direction as needed; schedules patient appointments; interviews patients and/or their representatives to obtain necessary information; completes the registration process for patients and/or their representatives; verifies insurance eligibility/coverage and obtains necessary pre-certifications/authorizations when applicable; collects/processes co-payments, deductibles and/or other types of payments; provides cost estimates when applicable; reviews charges in charge review WQs for completeness and accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) years of related work experience in a healthcare or customer service setting preferred
- Ability to lead and take direction
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
