About the role
This is a one-year contract in the first instance beginning September 2026 (or as close to that date as possible).
Responsibilities
- Considered for both vacancies for 20 hrs and 25 hrs per week (term time only)
- Take on a lunchtime supervisor role for an additional 3.5 hours per week to maintain consistent support for named SEND pupils
Requirements
- Experienced, enthusiastic, motivated and hardworking Teaching Assistant
- High expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
- Commitment to providing the best support for pupils of all abilities
- Flexible and willing to work in different age ranges
- Willing to work 1:1 and in small groups with SEND pupils that have complex needs
- Willing to undertake aspects of intimate care with children who have toileting issues
Qualifications
Preference for being a practising Catholic.
Skills
- Motivate and inspire children at all levels
- Teach and support groups of children or individuals following the direction of the class teacher
- Help to secure good progress from all learners
- Show initiative and be willing to develop themselves professionally
