About the role
The successful candidate will be a kind, caring and nurturing individual who can work effectively as part of our dedicated school team. Recent experience within a primary school setting, along with experience of supporting children with special educational needs, is essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide classroom, one-to-one, behavioural and administrative support
- Support and empathise with pupils who may face a range of challenges in their school life
- Work collaboratively with teachers, other teaching assistants, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students
Requirements
- Qualified SEN Teaching Assistant
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Qualifications
A good understanding of the Special Educational Needs Code of Practice will enable the successful candidate to support and empathise with pupils who may face a range of challenges in their school life.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of SEN Code of Practice

Pay and Schedule
- Actual salary: £22,094 - £23,923 per annum
- 32.5 hours per week (Mon- Fri 08:30 to 15:30)
- Permanent, Term Time Only
Schedule
- Required to start from September 2026
