About the role

Seminole State College Men’s Basketball is seeking a motivated and driven Assistant Coach to join our staff immediately. This is a true coaching position and a great opportunity for someone serious about pursuing a career in college basketball and looking to gain real, hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• On-court coaching and individual player development
• Recruiting and evaluations
• Opponent scouting, film breakdown, scouting reports, and game planning
• Academic monitoring
• Team operations and other duties involved in running the program

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a college basketball player, coach, graduate assistant, student manager, or in another basketball-related role is preferred
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and energy
• Willingness to take ownership and connect well with players
• Desire to grow as a coach
