Responsibilities

  • Champion and implement quality control processes at a project level.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction sites, materials, and processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Identify and address quality issues, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related concerns.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and quality control activities.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, standards, and advancements in quality control methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field (preferred) or 3 years of relevant work experience with quality certifications.
  • Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within the semiconductor construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in quality control tools and software is a plus.
  • Proficient in construction management software, such as Procore, Autodesk, or similar tools, for documentation and project tracking.
  • Strong understanding of quality control industry best practices.
  • Knowledge of quality control processes, inspection techniques, and testing methodologies relevant to construction.
  • Skilled in interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in identifying and addressing quality issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Spanish/English bilingual capability, preferred.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • The employee may be exposed to or required to perform climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, and repetitive motions.
  • The employee is required to frequently inspect the project and may be exposed to ongoing construction and various weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud.
  • Able to wear and tolerate cleanroom PPE (bunny suit, respirator as needed) and occasional chemical-suit entry during decontamination/flush operations.
  • Availability for second/third shifts, weekend work, and emergency call-outs to meet critical tool start-up milestones.
