Operate and sustain process tools and qualified recipes to enable stable, repeatable substrate processing.
Work with scientists to execute process experiments, collect metrology data, and support troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Execution & Tool Operation
- Run process tools, execute qualified recipes, and support equipment uptime through routine checks and basic troubleshooting.
- Development Builds & Data Collection
- Support engineering builds and DOE execution by preparing materials, running split conditions, and tracking process flow.
- Metrology & Documentation
- Perform metrology, record process data, and maintain accurate sample and tool documentation.
- Cleanroom Operations
- Maintain cleanroom discipline, material traceability, and contamination-control practices while supporting overall lab operations.
Experiences/Education - Required
- Bachelor’s degree with hands-on semiconductor or microfabrication experience, OR an Associate’s degree with 2-3 years of relevant technical experience
- Experience in a cleanroom, process development lab, pilot line, or manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with processes such as deposition, photolithography, etch, plating, anneal, cleaning, bonding, or metrology
- Able to follow process documentation, SOPs, travelers, and equipment instructions
Experiences/Education - Desired
- Experience in semiconductor process development, engineering builds, pilot-line operations, or low-volume manufacturing
- Experience with glass, ceramics, or other non-silicon substrates
- Experience with SPC, DOE execution, recipe management, and process troubleshooting
- Experience supporting process qualification and change implementation with scientists
