What You'll Do

  • Develop, solve, and critically review advanced material science problems with real-world relevance
  • Apply your expertise in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, or related fields to construct complex, rigorous problem statements
  • Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to sharpen AI model reasoning
  • Evaluate AI-generated scientific content for accuracy, depth, and technical soundness
  • Ensure scientific rigor and clarity across all deliverables — from problem design to written feedback

Who You Are

  • Holds a Master's or PhD in Material Science or a closely related field
  • Strong expertise in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, or related subfields
  • Proficient in Python or MATLAB through academic research or applied projects
  • Exceptionally clear written and verbal communicator with sharp attention to detail
  • Self-directed and comfortable working independently in an async environment
  • Based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
  • Background in computational materials science or materials simulation
  • Experience writing technical documentation, peer reviews, or research assessments
