Production & Assembly
Perform advanced semiconductor assembly operations including Datacon die attach. Execute complex engineering builds and prototype work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Inspect and verify assemblies using microscopes and precision measurement tools to ensure compliance with quality standards. Support rework and process adjustments for engineering builds as needed.
Equipment Operations & Technical Support
Perform operation and troubleshooting of semiconductor manufacturing equipment with minimal supervision. Diagnose equipment issues using test and diagnostic tools to support uptime and performance. Maintain equipment logs, basic records, and spare parts inventory tracking. Lead or support root cause investigations for equipment-related process issues. Assist Engineering in installation, setup, qualification, and commissioning of new fabrication and assembly equipment.
Training & Leadership
Train, mentor, and support Technicians and Operators on equipment operation, processes, and best practices. Provide technical guidance during complex builds and troubleshooting situations. Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement across the production floor.
Documentation & Systems
Read and interpret SOPs, work instructions, manufacturing travelers, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings. Accurately complete production and equipment documentation and maintain logs for shift pass-downs. Utilize computers and manufacturing systems to record data, track work, and review documentation.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all site safety policies and proactively promote safe work practices. Work in a cleanroom environment while adhering to gowning and contamination control requirements. Support emergency response team responsibilities as required.
Advanced proficiency in Datacon die attach and semiconductor assembly processes.
Strong equipment troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under a microscope with high precision.
Strong understanding of manufacturing documentation, schematics, and technical drawings.
Effective communication skills and ability to train others.
Self-motivated with strong time management and prioritization skills.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing production environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in electronics, mechanical, or related technical field preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or related field.
- Proven experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment in a production environment.
- Direct experience with Datacon die attach equipment strongly preferred.
