Semiconductor Industry Subject Matter Expert (SME) - USA California Bay Area

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced planning tools like Kinaxis and Oracle Planning Cloud to develop and implement supply and demand planning strategies.
• Analyze historical data, market trends, and customer demand patterns to forecast future requirements accurately.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply plans with business objectives and customer expectations.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of fabless semiconductor manufacturing processes, including design, fabrication, assembly, and testing.
• Demonstrate strong process knowledge of the entire fabless manufacturing lifecycle, from design to delivery.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction initiatives.
• Liaise with foundry partners, assembly and test facilities, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct comprehensive analyses to identify potential risks, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement in the supply chain.
• Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on industry best practices and emerging trends.
• Leverage advanced analytics techniques to extract insights from complex data sets.
• Develop and implement data-driven decision-making frameworks to support supply chain operations and strategic planning.
• Utilize data visualization tools to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a technical discipline).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with a focus on supply planning, demand planning, fabless manufacturing processes, and analytics.
• Proficient in the use of advanced planning tools like Kinaxis and Oracle Planning Cloud.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
