Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
- Carry out repairs and modifications on production tools.
- Execute complex electro-mechanical and pneumatic troubleshooting on a variety of toolsets.
- Collaborate with process and equipment engineering to improve tool performance and reliability.
- Support the equipment engineering department with maintenance, tool installations, retrofits, and repairs as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree, technical certificate, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with preventative maintenance, corrective repairs, and mechanical troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment.
- 1 year of experience working in a cleanroom environment or with vacuum systems (e.g., chemical vapor deposition (CVD), physical vapor deposition (PVD), or inductively coupled plasma (ICP)).

Skills
- Experience operating, repairing, or installing semiconductor manufacturing and facility support equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting equipment by checking software logs, programmable logic controller (PLC) signals, and wiring to find the root cause of a failure.
- Experience working with outside vendors on tool installations and process qualifications.
- Experience reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Experience supporting emergency response and safety teams.
