Semiconductor Equipment Engineer - 3rd Shift

About the role

The Semiconductor Equipment Engineer is assigned to 3rd shift with the hours of 9pm-7am Mon-Thu. This role involves supporting the Emergency Response Team (ERT), maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Dry Etch systems within a cleanroom environment. The position requires a strong background in electrical, electro-mechanical, and gas systems typical of semiconductor operations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment issues using experience, system knowledge, and technical manuals.
• Triage and repair equipment based on priority and operational needs.
• Support the Emergency Response Team (ERT) as needed.

Qualifications

• Typically require a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and/or repairing manufacturing equipment.
• Familiar with SEMI 10 semiconductor standards.
• Read and understand equipment manuals and schematics.
• Have a fundamental knowledge of SPC controls with the ability to implement SPC control plans on existing equipment and new equipment installations.
• Able to document work and provide detailed pass down.
• Experience with predictive maintenance and SPC controls using FDC software.
• Knowledge of thin-film metrology (ellipsometry, XRR, TEM, XPS, FTIR).
• Able to work in a cleanroom environment and support a dynamic production setting.
• Proficient use of MS Office products.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $68,900 - $131,100 annually.

Schedule

This role is available on a 3rd shift schedule from 9pm to 7am Monday through Thursday.
