About The Role

Kewaunee Fabrications, an Oshkosh Corporation company, is hiring a dependable and safety-focused Semi-Truck Driver. This role involves transporting materials and finished products between our facility, suppliers, and customers. Key responsibilities include safely transporting cargo, performing routine vehicle inspections, and maintaining a clean and operational vehicle.

Key Responsibilities / Your Impact

  • Safely transport materials and finished goods to and from suppliers and customers
  • Load, unload, secure, and inspect cargo to ensure safe transport
  • Operate a semi-truck and trailer in compliance with all state laws and safety regulations
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic preventative maintenance checks
  • Complete bills of lading, delivery paperwork, and required documentation accurately
  • Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure equipment is in peak operating condition
  • Represent the company professionally at customer locations and communicate relevant feedback
  • Exercise sound judgment to ensure safe driving and operating conditions

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL – Class A)
  • Excellent driving record with required endorsements
  • Strong attention to detail and safe equipment operation
  • Ability to read, write, and demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must meet Wisconsin DOT physical/medical requirements and pass substance screenings (including random testing)
  • Able to frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds (lifting devices available)

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of truck driving school or similar training
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
