Truck Driver - 2nd Shift

About the role

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Truck Driver - 2nd Shift at the Troy, IL facility.

Responsibilities

• Safely, efficiently, and timely transport materials to and from suppliers, vendors, and local customers.
• Pick up steel coils from suppliers and vendors.
• Perform local customer deliveries in the Troy and Highland areas.
• Complete miscellaneous deliveries and pickups as assigned.
• Operate Truck Unit 20 and utilize trailers, tarps, and straps to secure loads.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Current CDL – Class A.
• No relocation benefit offered.
• Only candidates residing within a 50‑mile radius of Troy, IL will be considered (Active‑Duty Military Service members exempt from this geographic limitation).
• Eaton will not provide immigration sponsorship or support for this position.

Skills

• Successfully pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening.
• Participate and comply with DOT‑regulated random drug testing requirements.

Pay

Hourly rate: $24.87 per hour, plus a $0.50 shift differential (salary information is a general guideline; actual pay based on skills, experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations).

Schedule

Core hours: Monday‑Friday, 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.; overtime may exceed these hours and can be mandatory.
