What You'll Do
- Work alongside Engineering and Development teams to provide direct product feedback
- Be the part of the first heavy duty commercial Semi Service technicians in the field
- Support the Tesla Semi Fleet that will move Tesla cargo between our own factories
- Serve as a technician for Tesla Heavy Service Centers and repair fleets as needed
- Create/maintain repair instructions to be used by anyone servicing a Tesla Semi
- Support customer charging concerns as needed
- Valid driver’s license required with ability to obtain and maintain a CDL
- Fluent in diagnosis/troubleshooting of heavy vehicle systems (ex. engines, transmissions, LV /HV electrical)
- Absolutely need ASE Certification, 608/609 certifications (preferred)
- Ability to innovate, solve complex issues, present new ideas and work well as part of a team including excellent commercial customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions
- Willingness to travel as necessary (customer facilities, close geographical area, and training sites), work the required schedule, and work at the specific location required.
- Open to relocate based on program needs is a plus
