SEM Manager
We're building the world's first creative entertainment platform, where the entire world can feel the joy and fulfillment of making music. Our users include everyone from grandmothers creating songs for their loved ones to Grammy winners using Suno Studio to produce popular hits. Building the future of entertainment requires ambition, fast pace, and ownership. For the right people, it’s a chance to shape a new medium, work with a small team that values quality, and create something millions use to express themselves in unprecedented ways.
About the Role
Suno's paid search program spans every international market we operate in, and it needs someone who can bring both rigor and range to its management. As our SEM Manager, you'll own paid search acquisition strategy, signaling, and testing across Google, Bing, and Apple Search Ads while joining our Growth Marketing team at a time when speed and exploration are key. You'll work closely with our SEM Lead, Paid Social, Data Science, Finance, and Creative teams to scale enterprise-level accounts with nuanced structure. This role is designed for someone with high accountability, a desire for ownership, and proven effectiveness at scale.
Responsibilities
- Manage SEM suite: Scope spans Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Apple Search Ads, and beyond. Manage budgets, bids, and audience strategy/structure to consistently drive towards our KPI targets.
- Own Channel Performance Globally: Optimize campaigns driving new users, subscriptions, and team acquisition KPIs across web and app surfaces in multiple geographic markets with nuance and attention.
- Drive KPIs using the full scope of campaign types: Meet users where they are and optimize the funnel from first impression to subscription. Understand audience overlap and cross-channel pollination to maximize impact.
- Own analysis and reporting: Proactively dig into campaign performance and anomalies to diagnose trends and deliver actionable insights to the growth team.
- Build your own tools: Leverage AI, internal tools, and data pipelines to remove blockers in your day-to-day. When something is broken or a desired dashboard doesn’t exist, build the functionality yourself.
- Collaborate Cross-functionally: Share copy/keyword insights with Creative and Lifecycle teams. Solve data gaps with Engineering and answer complex questions with Data Science.
- Own Channel partner relationship: Manage relationships with channel reps, including beta access, product roadmap input, billing, and spend reconciliation.
