About the role
Ralph Lauren Corporation seeks a Sales Floor Supervisor to lead and support the sales team in achieving store goals. This position requires a strong understanding of Ralph Lauren's brand and products, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the sales floor to ensure a consistent memorable customer shopping experience using the highest standards of service excellence while building client relationships and upholding our company culture.
- Partner with managers to learn the role of a leader and positively influence the store team.
- Takes a proactive approach to self-development and actively gives/receives feedback through one-on-ones and coaching.
- Action and commit to all training tools provided (5C's of customer excellence, product knowledge, etc).
- Supports and promotes new business initiatives to create a positive reception from sales team.
- Demonstrates professional etiquette through integrity, honesty and respect for others.
- Builds and develops a proactive clientele business through social engagement and relationship skills.
- Delivers value added services to enhance customer experience.
- Maintains merchandise in accordance with the Company's visual presentation standards.
- Utilizes product knowledge and selling tools to strengthen expertise.
- Meets and exceeds personal sales and SPH goals.
- Partners with managers in checking task tracker and retail web for updates weekly.
- Utilizes the CEM role. Manage, mentor, and coach sales team to take a proactive approach to expand their clientele and maximize sales.
- Communicate tasks and follow up to management and associates.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm and ability to build and maintain an environment which projects Ralph Lauren’s desired elevated image and character.
- Ability to guide individuals toward goal achievement using negotiation, teamwork, motivation and staff development skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Analytical skills, business acumen, financial acumen.
- Relevant work experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills preferred: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Workday, and Outlook.
- Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cashwrap and office; work around/with chemicals, lift up to 30 lbs. and climb moderately utilizing a ladder as trained under RL Health & Safety guidelines.
- Ability to operate the register, stand, move and walk for multiple hours.
