The Selling Lead drives personal, department, and storewide results through building genuine team and customer relationships, connecting customers with product, and creating memorable experiences. This role supports the team in driving sales and store key metric performance, providing excellent customer service, executing successful events, and maintaining merchandise presentations.
Responsibilities
- Create memorable store experiences through building genuine team, customer, and community relationships.
- Support the team in effectively executing customer outreach, clienteling, and event initiatives.
- Greet, engage, and assist customers warmly, creating a welcoming environment and providing personalized service to enhance customer shopping experience.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve customer concerns with professionalism, promptness, and care.
- Enhance team’s selling behaviors and key metric performance through communicating daily goals, leading by example, assisting with onboarding, initiating teaching opportunities, and supporting associate continued learning.
- Support team in leveraging selling tools and digital devices to provide customers with a seamless omnichannel experience by confidently speaking to available inventory, assortment, and product features and benefits.
- Maintain current company policy and procedure knowledge, providing consistent, accurate communication to team.
- Absorb and share team successes and celebrate associate achievements.
- Lead store fulfillment and asset protection initiatives in designated areas by accurately and efficiently executing omni and operations processes, maintaining product protection standards, and adhering to safety guidelines and security protocols.

- Communicate with excellence.
- Comfortable with technology, including smartphones, tablet computers and Windows-based operating systems.
- 1+ years of retail experience and a dedication to customer service excellence.
- Available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must regularly move around all store areas and be accessible to customers.
- Must bend, reach, stretch for product as well as lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.
