Self Employed Live-in Care Assistant
Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care that's tailored to the customer and encourages their independence
- Aid with personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Manage medication and prepare meals
- Tend to household tasks such as laundry, cleaning, shopping, and errands
- Support customers in maintaining connections with their community through social activities, hobbies, and visits from loved ones
- Offer comfort and care during illness, hospital stays, and end-of-life care
- Work independently while staying connected with our dedicated care and office team for support and guidance

Requirements
- A kind and caring nature
- Professionalism and confidentiality
- Ability to live with customers for agreed shifts
- To follow care plans and Bluebird Care Policies & Procedures
- To have up-to-date mandatory care training certificates
- To have a DBS on the update service
- To provide three professional and/or educational references
- To have strong verbal and written English skills
- To hold a valid driving license (preferred but not essential)
- To have the right to work in the UK
