Pay

Base pay up to $15.00/hr. The pay listed for this position may vary based on experience. Compensation decisions consider training, experience, work location, required travel, and external market conditions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers who are looking to checkout
• Introduce self-checkout to customers and explain functionality if needed
• Assist customers with scanning and bagging merchandise
• Assist customers with security tag/device removal
• Respond to self-checkout alerts and assist customers
• Process sales transactions at a POS for transactions not eligible through self-checkout
• Process POS and self-checkout transactions efficiently
• Replenish merchandise in the self-checkout area
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the self-checkout area
• Resolve customer issues and handle inquiries in a professional manner; escalate to management as needed
• Demonstrate awareness and assist with troubleshooting self-checkout hardware and software issues
• Perform retail cashier and customer care duties as assigned
• Demonstrate awareness and compliance with all relevant policies

Requirements

• Great communication skills
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Able to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
• Able to pass a background check
