Selena came to Billie’s Buddies a year ago as a feral dog. She was unsocialized and shut down with fear. She needed some intensive work, and she spent over a month getting professional help to bring her out of her shell. Once she realized she was safe, Selena slowly blossomed and is now a typical silly and happy pup! She may be nervous at times, but her eyes will let you know how loving and what a curious sweetheart she is. She’s so intelligent and a very quick learner. Her ideal home has at least one other dog . . . she will benefit from the companionship and comfort that other pets can provide. She also needs someone who can be very patient with her as she settles in. She may be nervous at first. Selena is housebroken, loves her crate, and walks great on the leash. She is food motivated, which is super helpful with training and exposing her to new things. She loves belly rubs, sunbathing, and nap time cuddles. Whoever adopts her will be very lucky. Don’t wait.
