Scholarship opportunity for undergraduate students in Physical Education (Licentiate or Bachelor's degree) at Universidade Federal de Santa Maria.

About the role

Develop and execute physical activity sessions, organize and care for elderly participants, and manage materials and physical space for the project "Physical Activity and Leisure for Independent Elderly Persons."

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct physical activity sessions for elderly participants.
  • Organize and ensure the safety of elderly participants during activities.
  • Manage and maintain materials and physical space used for the project.
  • Adhere to the Bolsista Activity Plan as established.
  • Communicate absences or withdrawal from the scholarship to the coordinator.
  • Maintain regular attendance in enrolled academic courses.

Requirements

  • Enrolled and regularly attending an undergraduate program in Physical Education (Licentiate or Bachelor's degree) at Universidade Federal de Santa Maria.
  • Updated personal information (email and phone) in UFSM portals.
  • Personal checking account with a bank authorized to receive payments via SIAFI (Sistema Integrado de Administração Financeira).
  • No other scholarships, except for Socioeconomic Benefit (BSE) or occasional aid.
  • Availability to commit 20 hours per week to scholarship activities without academic interference.

Selection Process

  • Documentation Review:
    • Academic transcript (max 2 points).
    • Letter of interest and prior experience with elderly individuals (max 3 points).
  • Interview: Assessment of competencies, skills, and experiences related to the project theme (max 5 points).

Candidates will be ranked in descending order based on final scores. Failure to submit any required document will result in automatic disqualification.

  • Monthly scholarship of R$750.00 (seven hundred fifty reais) from April 1 to December 31, 2026.
