Seleção de Bolsista para Projeto de Ensino Nº 054833: “Mecanização Agrícola como Ferramenta para Incremento da Renda e Qualidade de Vida ao Homem do Campo”

Scholarship opportunity for one student to support the Agricultural Mechanization Laboratory at Colégio Politécnico, UFSM, contributing to project demands and activities.

Application Period

June 21, 2024 to June 27, 2024. Applications must be sent exclusively to adao@politecnico.ufsm.br with the subject line “Inscrição para bolsa em projeto de mecanização agrícola”.

Required Documents

• Letter of interest explaining motivation for the scholarship
• Proof of enrollment
• Simplified academic transcript

Selection Process

Selection will consist of document review and an interview on June 28, 2024 (morning or afternoon). Failure to submit any required document will disqualify the candidate.

• Completion of the letter of interest
• No other scholarships of any kind (except those aimed at supporting vulnerable students)
• Availability to fulfill 20 hours per week

Selection Criteria

• Compatibility of technical or undergraduate course with project activities
• Satisfactory academic performance (verified through transcript)
• Alignment of personal goals with the project (verified through letter of interest)
• Technical capacity and project execution plan (verified through letter of interest)

Rights

• Monthly scholarship of R$ 550.00 from July 1 to December 31, 2024
• Personal accident insurance coverage during scholarship hours
• Defined schedule without interference with academic activities
• Necessary guidance for performing activities

Obligations

• Dedicate 20 hours per week to scholarship activities
• Keep personal data updated (email, phone) in COREM/Prograd, Student Portal, and Lattes Platform
• Hold a personal checking account (no savings or joint accounts) for scholarship payment

Failure to comply with obligations will result in scholarship cancellation.

Schedule

• Results announced on July 1, 2024, via www.politecnico.ufsm.br
• Activities begin on July 3, 2024

Pay

R$ 550.00 per month for the duration of the scholarship (July 1 to December 31, 2024).

Additional Notes

• In case of a tie, preference will be given to candidates with flexible schedules and relevant experience
• Unresolved matters will be decided by the Project Coordinator
