SEIT Lead - Platform Integrations
About the role
This position will require the candidate to work as part of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team to design, integrate, debug and test precision guided munitions. Individual technical contributions on a related range of Programs will include system development, requirements development, integration & test, and test planning and execution in a field deployment environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of Systems Engineers on APKWS integration efforts
- Manage all system engineering content and work products
- Implement the product development process
- Manage Cost and Schedule responsibilities for the systems team
- Execute systems planning and requirements development
- Create and review systems requirements to include, software, component, subsystem and operational concepts
- Allocate requirements to other engineering disciplines
- Create system test plans, procedures and reports
- Provide oversight to product design, development, integration, and verification
- Develop and maintain external relationships with customers, other contractors and government officials
- Manage and participate in trade studies, peer reviews, and customer meetings
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations both internally and externally with customers
- Monitor and report metrics such as System Technical Performance Measures
- Support proposal development activities including proposal text development, cost and schedule estimating, and presentation activities
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline in addition to 8+ Years of relevant industry experience
- Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance (secret or higher)
- Leadership skills and experience directing and mentoring engineers on complex programs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding and background in defense systems architecture, modeling, design and test
- Experience performing systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test)
- Experience developing viable concept solutions, identifying and tracking technical risks, and leading technical teams
- Experience in planning and conducting test events at US Government Test Facilities
- Model-Based Systems Engineering experience
- EVMS certification and CAM experience
Qualifications
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
- Experience in systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test)
- Experience in planning and conducting test events at US Government Test Facilities
- Model-Based Systems Engineering experience
- EVMS certification and CAM experience

Pay Information: Full-Time Salary Range: $132962 - $226035
