As Sensing Solutions HVACR Segment Manager, you will play a key role in driving the growth of Danfoss Sensing Solutions within the North American HVAC & Refrigeration market. By combining deep customer understanding, market/legislative insight, and commercial thinking, you will develop segment strategies that translate market opportunities into sustainable business results. In this role, you connect market insight, segment strategy, and execution—ensuring that customer needs, applications, and trends are clearly reflected in business priorities, product direction, and go-to-market activities. Your work will directly influence how Danfoss Sensing Solutions develops and grows in this strategically important segment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build strong relationships with strategic customers, stakeholders across Danfoss and external partners to gain deep customer, application and legislative insight to drive growth and innovation
- Closely monitor the legislative landscape to ensure that market and regulatory requirements are clearly understood and reflected in product and segment development
- Lead the development and execution of the segment growth strategy, in close alignment with product management and commercial teams
- Translate segment insights into clear business plans, supporting investment decisions, roadmap inputs, and go-to-market focus
- Serve as the commercial launch owner for new product developments, coordinating cross-functional efforts to ensure successful market entry
- Work cross-functionally with sales, product management, R&D, and operations to ensure successful execution of segment initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in segment management, product management, or business development with a strong technical and regulatory mindset
- Solid experience in HVAC & Refrigeration markets; knowledge of sensor technologies is an advantage
- Proven ability to turn market analysis into actionable business plans
- Comfortable operating at the intersection of customers, markets, and internal stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across functions and cultures
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
Salary Range
The salary range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000.
