Seeking Full-Time GI APP in western Philly suburbs
About the Role
Penn Medicine is seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the established Gastroenterology practice with offices in Limerick and Phoenixville, PA. The provider group currently consists of 4 Physicians and 2 APPs who care for general GI patients in the ambulatory setting. The practice utilizes the Epic EMR, which is universal throughout the University of Pennsylvania Health System (UPHS). The APP will work 36 clinical hours weekly and will also participate equally in the practice's on-call rotation after a suitable orientation period.
Minimum Requirements
- Licensure to practice professional nursing or a Physician Assistant license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- A MSN, DNP, or Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
- Current certification as a Family or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, or NCCPA certification
- Current CPR certification
- At least 2 years of prior APP experience, preferably in GI, Hepatology or another medical subspecialty (e.g. Infectious Disease)
