Seeking Experienced Tailor/Seamstress

About the role

We are seeking an experienced tailor/seamstress to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This position is part-time and requires on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Perform tailoring and sewing tasks according to customer specifications
• Handle fabric selection and pattern matching
• Ensure quality control and adherence to design standards
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding sizing and fit
• Keep workspace organized and clean

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in tailoring or seamstressing
• Proficiency in various types of sewing machines and hand sewing techniques
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for on-site work)

Skills

• Knowledge of fabric properties and care
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and patterns
• Basic computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Office)
