SED Attendant Care Worker (Part-Time)
Responsibilities
Assist in assessment of client needs.
Absorb clients in accessing community-based resources including providing transportation for clients when necessary and supporting access to other health-related providers.
Aid clients in implementing tasks related to treatment plan goals.
Collaborate with community partners and agencies to assist in following treatment plan goals and to assist in securing appropriate community resources.
Advocate and empower clients to ensure that appropriate services are provided, and necessary benefits are secured.
Provide information and support to family members of clients as appropriate.
Aid with crisis management as needed.
Complete all required documentation for services provided in the electronic medical record in a timely manner.
Update demographic information as applicable.
Requirements
Obtain Certification for Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) training.
First Aid CPR Certification.
Complete required 33 hours of training in ABA practice.
Complete additional training as assigned by the Department Director.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift and carry 5-15 pounds occasionally.
Be able to get on the floor and rise without assistance.
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
