Personnel Attendant-Caregiver PART TIME

About the role

We are looking for experienced, dedicated, and dependable professionals who enjoy working with the elderly and are committed to help improve their quality of life. You can start working 1:1 with clients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and hospice on an ongoing case.

Schedule

• Flexible schedule available mornings, day shifts, and overnights
• 7 days availability
• 4–6 hour shifts available
• 8–12 hour shifts available
• Live-in position available

Pay

• 4–6 hour shifts: $20.00–$23.00 per hour
• 8–12 hour shifts: $19.00–$20.00 per hour
• Live-in position: $18.42 per hour with overtime after 9 hours

Responsibilities

• Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, assisting with walking/ambulation
• Cooking and meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Companionship and medication reminders
• Running errands
• Driving and/or accompanying clients to appointments

Requirements

• Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) – CA state requirement; involves registering as a Personal Attendant and providing Livescan fingerprints for an FBI background check (Salus can assist if you are not currently certified)
• TB test within 90 days of start
• Ability to legally work within the USA
• Physical capability to perform all job functions
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if driving with clients
• Ability to speak, write, and read English
