Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established airport and facility protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport buildings, public areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report access control concerns or unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate with airport operations, law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
