Security Trainer - South Carolina

About the role

Experienced Trainer responsible for implementing standardized training programs for security personnel across various locations in the National Capital Region. The role ensures security officers meet and maintain compliance with company policies and the governing Statement of Work (SOW).

Responsibilities

• Provide training and instruction to security personnel
• Implement and maintain standardized training programs
• Ensure compliance with company policies and governing SOW

Requirements

• Certified Firearms Instructor
• Certified to train First Aid/CPR
• Certified instructor in baton, OC aerosol spray, and handcuffing
• National Weapons Training Instructor (NWDTP)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of two (3) years of training experience in military service, law enforcement, or commercial/industrial security force service
• Completion of an approved and accredited Principles of Instruction course and Firearms Training (e.g., NRA, Police Academy, State POST Academy, FLETC, or military training course)
• Appropriate certifications for First Aid, CPR, AED, Defensive Tactics, Handcuffing, Baton, OC Spray, Firearms, and NWDTP Instructions
• First Aid, CPR, and AED Instructor certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
