Accurately record vital signsExercise judgment in patient interactions and report changes to the RNPatrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gatesAnswer alarms and investigate disturbances.Ensure intervention is based on the patient's plan of care. Employ appropriate crisis intervention techniques as needed.Check patients for contraband and manage the patient's valuables and belongings. Your Experience Matters What We’re Looking For Education: High School Degree or equivalent preferred; or Certified Nursing or NAR preferred; Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, recreational therapy, psychology, human services, or appropriate therapeutic discipline preferred.Licensure: Agency-affiliated counselor registration in the state of Washington, preferred.Experience: One year of related experience, with a knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques, with an understanding of mental illness, preferred.Additional Skill Requirements: Successful completion of CPR certification and crisis intervention training within 10 days of employment, prior to assisting with restraining procedures. May be required to work flexible hours. Successful completion of Agency Affiliated Counselor certification within 60 days. Compensation This is a full-time role, and the expected compensation range is $19.00 to $23.00 per hour.
