Security Systems Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Security Systems Technician 3 to join our team. As a member of our collaborative and diverse group, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality service and solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Alleviate customer concerns regarding security systems
• Advise customers and the customer care center on system status and process inspections
• Repair or replace burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV systems, Card Access systems, and other security equipment
• Work independently from a remote location to provide the highest level of service
• Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring
• Readjust equipment, repair or replace inoperative equipment, and test for operation
• Prepare trouble order forms to report temporary repairs
• Coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies
• Service and repair Commercial security/Fire Alarm/CCTV/Card Access systems
• Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility efficiency
• Support upselling opportunities and provide quotes to customers

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3-4 years’ experience installing and inspecting/repairing Tyco Integrated Security or comparable product line
• Experience with Card Access/CCTV/IP cameras
• HIRSCH Certificate
• Excellent communication skills
• Electrical/Electronic background
• Valid driver's license
• Fire alarm experience preferred
• Some college preferred
• NICET II or greater preferred

Pay

Hiring hourly range: $32.06 - $44.13 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
