About the role
The Host-Based Security System Admin supports the CBL Battle Lab Facility located at Fort Gordon, GA. This contract supports the CBL mission to provide experimentation support to the C-CDID with dynamic network experimentation integrated with CO, DODIN-A, EW, and IA through the Cyber Battle Lab’s Experimentation Branch (EB), Environments Support Branch (ESB), and the Army Persistent Experimentation Environment (APEN) Cyber Enterprise Service Center (CESC).
Responsibilities
- Supports experiments, assessments, analyses, and network support that validate new technical solutions to resolve DOTMLPF-P capability gaps.
- Operates and administers Host Based Security Systems supporting FFC, AFC M&S community, and Future Force Concept experimentation.
- Works with McAfee policy Orchestrator (PO) Server and deploys/troubleshoots HBSS products such as HIPS, VSE, and DLP.
- Has a solid understanding of Microsoft operating systems and networking.
- Must have a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and obtain the required certifications within 6 months of assignment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of related technical experience.
- Specific experience with McAfee policy Orchestrator (PO) Server and hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting HBSS products.
- Knowledge and experience in working with McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention System, McAfee Data Loss Prevention Endpoint, and McAfee product policy tuning.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft operating systems and networking.
- Must have a baseline certification including SSCP, CEH, CSA+, or GICSP within 6 months of assignment.

- Obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
