Security Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Independently review and analyze security postures of insureds, providing timely and high-quality evaluations
• Evaluate customer security programs and develop tailored recommendations for enhancements
• Advise on security architecture and cloud security, translating complex risks into accessible business impact summaries
• Quantify security risk to inform underwriting and project decisions, driving risk reduction initiatives
• Provide technical support for security products via ticketing system and phone calls with policyholders
• Participate in claims feedback to identify missing domains and improve future claim processes
• Create and maintain team documentation to ensure consistency and quality across initiatives

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on security analysis or related experience, ideally in mid-market and large enterprises
• Understanding of network threats, attack vectors, and real-world exploitation methods
• Ability to independently evaluate and quantify security risk for complex organizations, translating technical risks into business terms
• Experience advising technical stakeholders and tailoring recommendations to their environment and risk tolerance
• Familiarity with security support tools like vulnerability scanners and SIEMs, achieving SME level in the company’s products quickly
• Strong interpersonal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Pay

$100,000 – $153,400 annually
