Responsibilities

• Support individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, and complex needs in a home and community setting.
• Help people live more independently, try new things, and stay connected to their community.
• Build meaningful, respectful relationships with the individuals you support.
• Aid in daily living skills like hygiene, meals, and routines.
• Encourage participation in community activities and daily engagement.
• Provide calm, consistent support for individuals with behavioral needs.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and respectful home environment.
• Work closely with your team to support each person’s goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or 5 years of documented caregiving experience.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license (held for at least one year).
• Access to a registered, insured vehicle.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Reliable, responsible, and compassionate approach to caregiving.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Good communicators and team players.
• Flexible and able to adapt in real time.
• Responsible, reliable, and consistent.

Skills

• None specifically required, but experience in caregiving, healthcare, CNA work, behavioral health, or human services is helpful.
