Security Supervisor Part-Time

About the role

As a Surveillance Security Officer, you will monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity, document observed events and incidents, respond quickly to threats, conduct regular patrols, control access to secure areas, verify visitor identities, analyze systems for vulnerabilities, and collaborate with law enforcement when needed. Your sharp eye and attention to detail will help spot threats before they escalate in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. The position is located in Dayton, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States
• CCURE 9000 experience preferred (but not required)
• Genetec experience preferred (but not required)
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to provide documentation of a High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus
• State license if required

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $24.00 per hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees)
