Security Supervisor: Part -Time

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a part‑time Surveillance Shift Supervisor to patrol sensitive areas, monitor security systems, and respond to incidents in environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers. The role requires strong observation skills, the ability to anticipate risk, and effective coordination with law enforcement and emergency services.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity and conduct vehicle patrols around the building and surrounding tenants.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents and check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken; generate and analyze security reports.
• Respond to alarms, conduct on‑site checks, and operate CCTV, alarms, and access‑control systems.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Gather information from callers during emergencies, dispatch assistance, and coordinate with emergency services.
• Provide clear instructions and guidance over the telephone and coordinate with security personnel or other stakeholders.
• Understand and follow security protocols and procedures for system operations.
• Manage relationships, build rapport and trust, and lead or supervise a team.
• Conduct security‑related interviews or investigations and coordinate responses to security incidents.
• Collaborate with other departments on security‑related projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Pass an extensive screening process and possess a valid driver’s license.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in corporate security, military, or law enforcement.
• Active DCJS Security License.
• Age 21 or older, as required by law or contract.
• Proficiency with Microsoft or Google applications and security systems.
• Experience preparing Incident/DAR reports.

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $27.04 /hr (DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees).

Schedule

Sunday – Monday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
