Security Supervisor (Overnight)

Position Summary

The Overnight Security Supervisor at Nemacolin is responsible for: Following broadly based directions, training and developing subordinate Security Department personnel, implementing Department Management directive, supervising Security Department personnel, reading and analyzing a wide variety of instructional and training information, interacting and communicating with people representing a wide variety of units and organizations, conducting disciplinary and counseling sessions when necessary, developing department schedules, ensuring operational status, and conducting weekly random checks of alarm systems.

Essential Functions

• Supervise activities of various security personnel
• Oversee emergency procedures
• Supervise the protection of all Nemacolin assets
• Conduct company related investigations and surveillance
• Advise on course of action on security and safety concerns
• Maintain a high level of knowledge in regard to current security laws and policies
• Issue disciplinary actions when appropriate
• Maintain and log records of artwork and alarm system
• Other job duties assigned

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required

• High School Graduate
• PA Act 235 certification preferred, not required
• Supervisory Experience preferred
• At least 1 years' experience working on a resort required
• Able to work various shifts, including flex shift/float position
• Must possess excellent leadership skills and be able to make sound decisions
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Must be able to speak and write English
• Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license
