Security Supervisor

United Security Services, Inc., a national security company, is seeking a professional full-time Security Supervisor for an upscale hotel in the Houston area.

Responsibilities

• Handle hotel security tasks, respond to emergencies, and prepare and review incident reports
• Review CCTV footage and utilize Morse Watchmans Keywatcher and Saflok systems
• Supervise professional hotel security officers for an assigned shift
• Collaborate with hotel management staff
• Apply progressive discipline and ensure compliance with criminal law
• Review time and attendance systems and handle general administrative matters

Requirements

• At least 4 years of public safety or private security experience, with at least 2 years of security management/supervisory experience
• Excellent customer service skills and sound judgment
• Good working knowledge of Houston’s culture, communities, and dynamics
• Proficient in interacting and communicating with hotel management staff
• Must possess, or be able to acquire by time of employment, a Texas Security Officer license
• Availability and flexibility to work any day, including weekends and holidays, and any shift based on operational needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in Morse Watchmans Keywatcher system and Saflok system
• Understanding of criminal law
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to learn security software applications
• Working knowledge of the hospitality industry and related nomenclature

Pay

Hourly wage starts at $19.57.

Schedule

• 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• 5:30 PM – 2:00 AM

Shifts may vary based on operational requirements.
