About the role

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Security Supervisor to join their team at the DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton Denver. The ideal candidate will be engaging, safety-focused, and customer-oriented, with a proven track record in leadership, customer service, and security.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out safety policies and procedures of the property and Pyramid Global Hospitality, maintaining a professional and courteous atmosphere.
  • Hire and train Security team to uphold the highest standards of safety.
  • Reduce crime opportunities through preventive patrols and visible security presence.
  • Promote and preserve peace on the premises to ensure a comfortable and non-threatening environment.
  • Aid or seek assistance for individuals in danger or needing medical attention.
  • Respond to emergencies as outlined in the Emergency Service Procedures.
  • Affirm the security of guest and employee information in all forms of documentation.
  • Complete daily activity and incident reports.
  • Aid in the development and presentation of security-related programs.
  • Review and edit written records produced by Security Officers.
  • Assist with scheduling and payroll approval as needed.
  • Aid in overnight coverage as needed, with a $1/hr differential for overnight shifts.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid drivers license in good standing.
  • One year of leadership experience preferred.
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred.
  • Two years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Two years of Security or Police experience, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • A degree in a safety, security, or hospitality-related field preferred.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • First Aid/CPR certification, preferred with instructor rating.
  • High-quality written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications

Pay

$22 - $23 per hour.
