DK Security is Michigan's fastest-growing security company, established in 1995. We started as an investigations firm but now provide a variety of services including uniform security, event staff security, and loss prevention.

Job Skills / Requirements

• Military veterans and those with firefighting, corrections, or law enforcement experience are encouraged to apply.
• Shifts: 1st shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday with 24/7 availability for supervisor duties.
• Location: Saginaw, MI
• Rate of Pay: $22.46/hour (set by contract, non-negotiable)

About this Contract

The Security Supervisor is responsible for:

• Cooking and directing contracted security personnel, including training, scheduling, and discipline;
• Managing schedules and assignments for security personnel and ensuring proper coverage;
• Being available to assist in case of an emergency or dealing with unruly individuals on the job site in a calm and professional manner;
• Maintaining positive and productive relationships with the client and their on-site and off-site management.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent (must be at least 21 years old and hold a Michigan CPL or LEOSA card for armed security positions).
• Not convicted of any felonies or misdemeanors related to dishonesty, fraud, impersonation of law enforcement, assault, weapons, unauthorized sale of information or evidence, controlled substances (including marijuana), or two or more alcohol-related offenses.
• Able to pass a drug screening at the time of hire and randomly thereafter (including for marijuana).
• Able to sit, stand, and walk long distances, including navigating stairs, for the duration of the shift (8-12 hours).
• Able to work independently with little or no supervision.
