Security Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Monitor entry and exit on the campus, emergency call system, fire and smoke alarms and video cameras.
• Patrol buildings and grounds on foot and by vehicle to ensure campus-wide safety and security.
• Provide leadership and guidance to security officers during assigned shifts, ensuring effective team performance and adherence to procedures.
• Schedule, assign posts, and oversee breaks for security personnel.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of security officers, providing input for performance appraisals and identifying areas for improvement.
• Aid in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Model professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellence for security personnel.
• Enroll in and successfully complete an accredited Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program within six (6) months of employment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid hands-on CPR certification per CMS guidelines.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience required.
• Experience with computers and office software.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new systems.
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification required for this role.
• Must be enrolled within six (6) months of employment.
