Security Supervisor

This position is full-time and safety-sensitive, reporting to the Security Manager.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and coordinate daily activities of security personnel.
• Assign work activities to security staff and recommend policy/procedure changes to ensure security.
• Prepare proposals for manpower and equipment needs.
• Assist customers and personnel in investigating criminal violations when they arise.
• Supervise all security personnel to ensure adequate facility security.
• Review disciplinary actions taken against employees.
• Approve or disapprove employee requests for vacation, sick leave, or leave of absence.
• Ensure all employees are treated equally.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum high school education (some college preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a security-related field.
• Good working knowledge of security equipment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Understanding of management practices and internal controls.
• Background in training and instructing.
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions.
• Must pass a background check and random drug testing.
• Dependable transportation required.
• Must maintain a valid Cheyenne and Arapaho Gaming License.

Criteria for Gaming License Disqualification

• Felonies: No felonies within the past ten (10) years.
• Misdemeanors: Automatic disqualification for theft/fraud, domestic abuse/assault and battery, or drug/alcohol-related offenses within two (2) years (unless proof of treatment program attendance is provided).
