About the role

The Security Supervisor at Live Nation Concerts is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the security department and staff within the venue. This role involves direct supervision of security staff, providing guest service, leading staff training, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise security staff and other employees performing security services for guests.
• Provide guest service by greeting and assisting guests and responding to inquiries and complaints.
• Lead staff, conduct ongoing training, manage staff positioning, and ensure all staff members are informed about event-specific details.
• Oversee productivity and work assignments of the security staff and communicate any challenges or status updates to the Security Manager or designated Manager before the end of the shift.
• Show CARE by participating in the venue's sustainability program, which may include implementing programs to conserve resources and prevent waste, and educating fans about these efforts.
• Partner with fellow band members at the end of shows to close the venue, which may involve collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved sections, and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs.
• Train and evaluate security team members in venues.
• Assign and schedule team members to specific duties.
• Role model and enforce safety, health, and security priorities.
• [Escort or drive motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection]
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Security Manager.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• In certain states, a Guard Card is a plus.
• Working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment, and enforcement procedures.
• Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• An acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
• A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.

Qualifications

• Constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs., and occasional sitting.

Compensation is determined based on the candidate's education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market, internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment. Salary history will not be considered in compensation decisions.
