Security Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of the security team.
• Monitor staff adherence to established policies and procedures.
• Oversee staff training and development; coordinate and implement shift schedules to ensure comprehensive security coverage and hospital protection.
• Support the manager with daily departmental operations, including interviewing, disciplinary actions, staff management, and contract administration.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: Wisconsin Concealed Weapons License (CCW) to be obtained within 90 days (3 months) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Drivers License credentialed from the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• One Or More Of The Following Are Preferred BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).Law Enforcement.Management of Aggressive Behavior credentialed from the Management of Aggressive Behavior Training International, Inc.Security Professional.
• Education: High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
• Work Experience: 1 year of experience required.

Qualifications

• Prior Leadership experience required and applicable Security experience, Law Enforcement experience, Military experience, or degree preferred.
• Security training academy must be successfully completed during the probationary period.
• Full time, Rotating shifts, primarily M-F Days. Combination of 8 and 12 hour shifts.

Schedule

Full-time / 1st Shift; rotating shifts, primarily M-F days; combination of 8 and 12 hour shifts.
