Security Staff

Key Responsibilities

• Enforce park policies and procedures, completing incident reports as required
• Respond to medical and safety incidents in accordance with established emergency protocols
• Promote a safe and secure environment for guests and staff through proactive awareness and support
• Aid guests during ingress and egress, providing support and identifying when assistance may be needed
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of Ravinia’s grounds, operations, and policies
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Fluency in English, must be able to effectively communicate
• Demonstrated ability to remain poised during challenging situations and respond with professionalism and empathy
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Prior experience in security or law enforcement preferred

Work Environment

• The Ravinia season runs from June through September
• Priority in hiring will be given to applicants who are available to work the entire season
• This position is outdoors and in all weather conditions with prolonged periods of standing
• This position requires mostly afternoon/evening hours
• Applicants must be available for both weekday and weekend hours
