Hiring Agency General Government Cabinet Location 4675 State Route 181 North Greenville, KY 42345 Description The Facilities Division is hiring two (2) Security Specialist positions that provides Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) security measures for facilities and grounds within jurisdiction of the Department of Military Affairs (DMA). Positions are rotating shift that includes shift differential. Hazardous duty certification and physical agility and drug testing required. Job duties include but are not limited to the following: Provides DTRA security measures for facilities and grounds within jurisdiction of the DMA. Provides DTRA security measures to include but not limited to controlling entry and exit of military and civilian personnel and vehicles and other equipment at various entry control points, stands guard and patrols to ensure buildings and grounds are properly secure, conducts person and vehicle searches, secures crime and incident scenes and participates in response to intrusions or attacks as a member of emergency response force. Operates vehicles, communication equipment, intrusion detection devices, weapons and other special purpose security equipment. Insures the operating condition and maintenance of all assigned equipment. Responsible for attending and completing all annual training provided by state and federal government.
