Security Specialist – Industrial
Responsibilities
The Industrial Security Professional shall provide Security support under this TO. This includes the management and oversight of all activities performed to support the protection of classified information developed by or entrusted to U.S industry operating under the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
Brief and coordinate SAP and collateral security requirements for USAF, USN, USMC, and international bed down sites and provide accurate data at all 35%, 65% and 95% design reviews.
Maintain and monitor security activities at bed down locations until facilities receive accreditation.
Identify security clearance and SAP access requirements at bed down locations.
Assist the services in defining facility and infrastructure requirement to meet F-35 bed down for all sites.
Coincide and participate in the development of CONUS and OCONUS FacilitiesRequirements Documents (FRDs) and document results.
Requirements

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in a security related discipline along with three (3) years of experience in a security related field OR
- An Associate's degree plus seven (7) years of work experience in a security related field OR
- Nine (9) years of work experience in a security related field
Ability to constructively engage and resolve challenging situations
Available to work before/after typical office hours
Independent self-starter, proactive and professional assertive
Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literate
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask
Senior Level Knowledge of:
- ICD 705
- DoD SAP Manuals
- UFC Constitution Criteria
- Supply Chain Risk Management, DoD Directives, IC Directives, and NISPOM.
Clearance
TS clearance - Special Access Required (SAR)
Achieve Industrial Security Oversight Certification (CDSE) within one year of hire.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for long-periods and must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally.
Mental Requirements
Must be able to multi-task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.
