Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define security architecture principles, reference architectures, and design patterns for enterprise systems, applications, and platforms.
- Provide architectural review and guidance for new initiatives, major design changes, and technology selections.
- Evaluate proposed architectures to identify systemic risk, design gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Support security tooling decisions from an architectural fit and integration perspective.
- Communicate architectural decisions and risk posture effectively to technical and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with IT, risk, and compliance teams to strengthen detection and response maturity.
Requirements
EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise technology roles with significant focus on security architecture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Experience applying security frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, and OWASP at the architectural level.
- 3+ years of experience in designing solutions in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level discussions.
- Strongly Desired: Professional certifications such as: CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CyberArk Certification, Proofpoint Certification.

PAY AND BENEFITS
- A reasonable estimate of the current range is $125-135,000 + bonus + benefits.

- The range provided is based on cost of living/geography and what we believe is reasonable in the market at the time of posting.
- This role may be eligible for annual bonus and annual merit increase, as well as long term compensation.
- Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
