Security Site Supervisor - Logistics Facility

Responsibilities

• Oversight of all security aspects including staffing, scheduling, and on-site training
• Maintenance of contract-required training and screening elements
• Maintenance of overtime to a minimal or preset requirement
• Regular inspection of security personnel and their job performance
• Positive and negative personnel actions recommendations
• Emergency notifications and response to client requests
• Direction and instruction to subordinates
• Productivity and cost reduction recommendations
• Physical security surveys and post orders recommendations
• Disciplinary action/commendation decisions recommendations

Qualifications (must Have)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pass state-required training or other qualifications for licensing
• Pass state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
• One or more years of supervisory experience in security-related industry
• Associate's degree or higher in any discipline
• At least 18 years old, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
• Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Problem-solving abilities
• Active listening skills
• Able to assess and evaluate situations quickly and accurately
• Ability to research, investigate, compile information
• Ability to mediate conflict with tact and diplomacy
